Leslie & Associates has teamed up with our Eastside client for a Senior Tax Accountant to strengthen our team.

The right candidate has experience from similar positions, is proactive and quality focused. You have strong analytical abilities, are experienced in managing processes, work independently and are able to build trust with colleagues in various roles in the organization. This is an exciting and challenging role in an international company of great complexity. You will report to and work closely with the Tax Director in the U.S. and Controller in Norway.

Main responsibilities and tasks

• Assist in tax preparation of a U.S. Federal consolidated tax return and State tax returns (both unitary and separate).
• Assist in preparation of annual & Quarterly tax provisions for financial statements.
• Tax planning – both Federal and State
• Maintain sales tax exemption certificates
• Assist in making tax Deposits
• Various Reconciliations
• Tax Research

 Qualifications

• Bachelors’ degree in Accounting
• 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong competence in accounting
• Good excel and IT system competence
• Experience from working in an international company is an advantage
