SECCO SQUARED, a leader in high-performance online and mobile marketing, is hiring an AFFILIATE MANAGER for its NY-based headquarters. At SECCO SQUARED, we provide a full suite of acquisition and monetization solutions for global advertisers reaching billions of mobile and web users with our multichannel offerings - driving quality consumers, engagement, increasing customer LTV and impacting the bottom-line for our partners.
The AFFILIATE MANAGER will be responsible for proactively researching and identifying potential affiliates and publishers across all media channels. He or she will develop deep relationships with multiple partners to grow revenue opportunities. The AFFILIATE MANAGER will also be responsible for overseeing affiliate accounts; helping with initial enrollment and maintaining the account throughout the relationship.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research and identify potential business deals – ultimately negotiating favorable terms as well as managing long-term relationships
- Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to optimize performance and increase affiliate-generated revenues.
- Maintain high level of communication with affiliates, recommend new campaigns to affiliates and provide performance feedback to Sales team
- Work as part of the larger team with Sales, Account Management and Finance to communicate affiliates’ needs
- Set and then exceed monthly/quarterly/annual goals for revenue, profit margin and growth – and help affiliates do the same
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, products, and markets for consumer and performance based marketing and lead generation
- Occasional travel to industry conferences
The ideal AFFILIATE MANAGER candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset and an innate desire to understand how businesses work. You must be intellectually curious with an inquisitive problem-solving personality and a strong work ethic. The person in this role should be a self-starter who excels in relationship building, finds joy in winning, and is adaptable. The ability to think creatively and work as part of a team with the Sales and Account Management team will also contribute greatly to your success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant Business Development/Internet advertising or marketing experience with preference given to those with directly related digital sales or online affiliate marketing/management experience
- Thrive in a cross functional and fast paced environment
- Self-starter with initiative and drive to succeed – positive, energetic and willing to go the extra mile
- Quick learner able to operate independently while part of a larger team environment
- Superb prospecting skills – able to get creative in finding new opportunities and negotiate deals
- Strong analytic, reporting and time management skills – able to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills – strong in excel and able to navigate Reporting UI's
- Understanding of performance-based marketing models such as CPL, CPA, CPI, CPS, etc.
- Punctuality and availability "after hours" is paramount to the Affiliate Managers success
- BS/BA in marketing, communications, advertising or business
