Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and skilled Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will receive emergency and non-emergency calls and make quick decisions to ensure the proper action is taken. The ideal candidate is highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

We will train:

Collect and document information from callers

Client/Driver schedule – assign drivers route in the most efficient way.

Oversee driver schedules – dispatch or rearrange drivers to cover the requested trips.

Drive clients –if necessary to accommodate as many trips as possible.

Answer calls and give quotes.

Monitor driver’s performance/behavior based on feedback from clients, families, and medical facility staff.

Communicate with social workers, clients, and family members regarding insurance eligibility, change in schedules, and issues that may arise.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED

Ability to work well under pressure

Clean driving record

Basic computer skills

Be able to lift >50 lbs.

Fast learner

Problem solver

Bilingual - Spanish speaking (preferred)

Interpersonal skills
