We are a private arts middle and high school. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, helping them develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.

Duties:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
• Teach various mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry and calculus
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students as needed
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills through challenging mathematical problems
• Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation
• Utilize technology and other resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum materials
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts across various levels
• Experience in middle and high school teaching is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline
