We are seeking experienced Mortgage Doc Drawers to join our team as full-time employees. This position is located in our Costa Mesa office and can be remote as well. Come work with a lender with more than 25 successful years in the business, where our team members are our most valuable asset!

This person will ensure that accurate and compliant loan documents are delivered in a timely manner to our clients.

The ideal candidate will also possess extensive knowledge of mortgage loan products, loan documents, loan funding requirements, and escrow/title practices, as well as regulatory compliance laws as they apply to mortgage-lending transactions.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effectively communicate status and expectations to processors, loan originators, escrow/title, etc..
• Analyze credit package/loan docs for accuracy.
• Ensure data integrity
• Review loan for compliance with RESPA, RESPA tolerances, TILA and MDIA.
• Make detailed notes as needed in the LOS conversation log.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner
• Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting other team members and management as needed.
• Confidentiality is paramount.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of two years of current experience as a Mortgage Loan Document Drawer
• Experience with Calyx Point and Encompass
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, and Conventional loan guidelines.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume, and sometimes stressful work environment.
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, and Conventional loan products, underwriting procedures, creditor financial analysis techniques, investor requirements, and escrow/title practices, as well as regulatory compliance laws as they apply to mortgage transactions.
• Superior knowledge of personal computers and applicable software. (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Calyx Point, Encompass, LP, DU, DocMagic)
• Knowledge of TRID, RESPA, TILA, HVCC/AIR, MDIA, Regulatory Compliance and legal requirements.
