Requirements:

Must possess a computer science or IT related bachelor’s degree.

Must have a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience as a Security Architect Lead collaborating with various teams such as application design teams, application development teams, technical SMEs and architects, and security policy experts, Cyber Security team to define, implement an integrated framework of solution security architecture.

Must have a min of two (2) years of experience and proficiency in security categorizations (e.g. FIPS Publication 199) to identify appropriate security controls to assess data sensitivity and protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI)

A minimum of over five (5) years of experience architecting network infrastructure components such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems and intrusion prevention systems.

A minimum of over two (2) years of experience in implementing systems that comply with NIST 800-53 moderate baseline

A minimum of over one (1) year of experience as the Security Architect Lead implementing Salesforce and its security features.

Must hold current valid (ISC)2© Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, or ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Preferred public sector experience – at least one (1) completed project as a Security Architect Lead for a public sector client in state of California

At least one (1) completed project as a Security Architect Lead for State of California agency in which relevant State security policies and standards were successfully met.

Must hold at least one (1) active certification: Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or AWS Certified Security or CompTIA Cloud+ or GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)
