Seeking security officers for a downtown construction location.

Part-time day shift- weekends only.

Looking to fill every Sunday day shift every week and a Sat day shift 1-2 Sats a month. Hours are 5am-6pm 13 hour shifts.

MUST have a valid AZ guard card- unarmed.

This is for security for day shift at a construction site. We are looking for security officers that have experience in working security on a construction site overnight. Be open to the hours changing slightly as the weather gets hot or colder for the crew start times. Also, there will be nights you may be sent home early for pours, at around 1-2am at times instead of leaving at 5am.

Site is in the downtown PHX area- city center area.

Some of the duties included but not all.

Patrol the inside the fenced areas. Working outside the whole shift. Check all gates and fence lines. Do not let anyone on site overnight. Watch for fires or other emergencies. Firewatch. 3-4 hours. Report all pipe leaks, issues as needed. Keep vagrants/homeless people off site and away from the construction areas and their closed sidewalk and office areas. Watch for theft, vandals, unauthorized people. Be able to use silvertrac for reporting hourly and incident reports. Patrolling and checking 2-3 areas an hour on silvertrac. Work mostly alone or the whole shift without much supervision. Call 911 as needed or call police, fire or ambulance. Answer the site phone as calls may come in overnight. Be detailed, aware, and alert at all times. Walking for patrols, outside on shifts at night, busy area. Be able to walk stairs, up and down a few times a shift. Must be in good physical shape/ fit. walking, foot patrols, walking stairs. Must wear hardhat, safety vest at all times while on site on duty. Port-o-Johns on site only.
