POSITION SUMMARY
The Security Concierge supports the operations at the Embraer's Fort Lauderdale Campus at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The ability to respond to other Embraer properties in Fort Lauderdale and Davie is required. This position is responsible for safeguarding personnel, property, and information through comprehensive access control, surveillance management, and compliance with security protocols. Reporting to the Chief Security Officer (CSO), the Security Concierge will oversee daily security functions of the guard force and contribute to crisis management and at times training.
Further, this role has an important customer-facing responsibility to represent the brand during customer and guests' interactions. This role is responsible for welcoming employees, customers, vendors and guests, mail sorting, badging of employees, access control to the area of responsibility and enforcing overall security requirements. This Employee is expected to be customer oriented, respectful, friendly, always on time, and very organized and will predominantly sit in a reception facing area when not engaged elsewhere.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
• Administrative Support: Prepare correspondence for management, manage incoming mail, and support departmental documentation and workflow needs.
• Data Management: Enter, retrieve, and maintain sensitive data in designated security databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Access Control & Surveillance: Oversee access control and CCTV systems, ensuring real-time monitoring, site security, and compliance with access protocols.
• Visitor Management System (VMS): Manage the VMS for on-site locations, including the screening and approval of flagged personnel. Manage visitor badging and provide Customers/Vendors/Guests with Badges.
• Non-U.S. Employee Visit Coordination: Collaborate with Legal and Mobility departments to facilitate non-U.S. employee visits, ensuring compliance with security requirements.
• Third Party Engagement: Study the Customer's briefing material to be prepared for the next day's activities; Greet Customers by name, direct them to the meeting room or to their focal point; Send emails to the guard gates with information on future guest arrival; Answer calls and determine the correct person/department to route them to; Support with hosting internal events as needed; Keep track of vendors and ensure their activity is not conflicting with Customers' activities
• Airport Operations Area (AOA) Access (where applicable): Serve as an Authorized Signatory for AOA access, conducting routine audits and ensuring compliance with airport authority standards.
• Security Protocol Development: Prepare and distribute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Post Orders for contracted security staff to ensure consistent adherence to security policies.
• Operational Support: Assist in the oversight of contracted security personnel with daily operations, including entry control, employee updates, and maintenance of contact lists. Assist with security investigations as warranted.
• Emergency Services Assistance: Provide on-site support for Emergency Services during incidents.
• Crisi s Management Support: Support the CSO with crisis preparation, response, and recovery activities, including logistical and operational tasks.
• Training: Conduct onboarding and access control training for personnel, ensuring consistent practices and compliance with corporate standards.
• Cost Management: Track and manage invoices associated with the security cost center, ensuring accurate financial reporting. SAP Focal point for purchasing of office supplies and payment of vendors.
• Professional personal presentation and personal hygiene are of extreme importance
• Other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
• High School Degree completed required
• Bachelor's ideal or an associate degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience in security operations, law enforcement or military security
Experience:
• Minimum of 3+ years demonstrated experience as access control lead, receptionist, administrative assistant or a similar in-person customer facing role.
• Previous Law Enforcement, Military or Security work.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge Microsoft Office applications.
• Very strong computer skills and proficiency in security and surveillance software (e.g., CCTV systems, access control systems)
• International/Intercultural experience preferred

• Bilingual language skills preferred but not required
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain
