About the Role:

North American Land Development is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to join our team in Monroe, LA. This is a critical role where you'll help protect our assets, property, and personnel while maintaining a safe and secure environment. If you're a trained security professional who takes pride in your work, we want to hear from you!

THIS IS FOR THE NIGHT SHIFT.

Responsibilities:

Patrol and monitor assigned areas to deter unauthorized access, theft, and vandalism

Respond swiftly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms

Enforce company policies and access control procedures at entry and exit points

Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and perimeters

Document and report incidents, suspicious activity, and daily security logs

Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary

Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter potential security threats

Requirements:

Valid Louisiana armed security guard license or commission card required

Proven experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service preferred

Proficient in firearm handling, safety protocols, and use-of-force policies

Strong observational skills and ability to assess and de-escalate situations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting

Ability to stand, patrol, and remain alert for extended periods

Reliable, professional, and able to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
