  • Responsibilities

    The Hotel security Agent ensures guest and staff safety by patrolling, monitoring surveillance, controlling access, responding to emergencies (medical, fire, disturbances), documenting incidents, and enforcing hotel rules, blending vigilant protection with hospitality to create a secure environment. This is an overnight position, part-time. Responsibilities: • **Patrolling & Surveillance: **Regularly patrol all areas (lobbies, hallways, parking, back-of-house) to identify hazards. • Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access points to detect suspicious activity. • Access Control: Monitor entrances/exits, verifying guests and staff. • Control access to restricted areas and check vehicles/luggage when necessary. • Emergency Response: Act as first responders for medical, fire, theft, or disturbance calls, providing first aid (CPR) and coordinating with emergency services. • Implement evacuation plans during fires or disasters. • Incident Management: Investigate and document all incidents (theft, injury, damage). • Respond to disturbances and enforce hotel policies, restraining trespassers if needed. • **Guest & Staff Assistance: **Assist guests with directions, lost items, and escorting them safely (e.g., to cars late at night). • Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor, blending security with service. • **Reporting & Administration: **Complete daily reports, logs, and maintain security records. • Report maintenance/housekeeping issues to the relevant departments. Qualifications: • Vigilance & Observation • Emergency Response & First Aid • Communication & Interpersonal Skills • and Knowledge of Hotel Layout & Policies • Prior experience preferred in the hospitality industry or similar
