Job Summary

You're invited to attend the Tank Security Team Recruiting and Hiring event on Aug 12 & 13, 2025, from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at The Atrium Building, 1200 N St., West Conference Room on the 7th Floor (you may attend one or both days). We will discuss security, de-escalation, and nightlife security guard roles, duties, and responsibilities.

We are seeking forty-five professional Security Guards to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect local businesses' premises, assets, and employees and prevent illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with people, public safety, and security. Looking for men and women who operate with a high degree of integrity at all times. If you're looking for part-time security guard work that matters, primarily Thursday through Saturday, this could be a great fit for you! Serious inquiries only, must not be overly aggressive, but understand de-escalation. Candidates must be able to lift 25 lbs overhead and pick up 45 lbs from the ground ten times.

Responsibilities

Patrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility

Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility

Remove trespassers when necessary

Monitor surveillance cameras

Respond to reports of suspicious activity

Report on daily activities and any security incidents

Qualifications

Previous experience as a security guard or in a similar position is welcome

High school diploma/GED

Strong understanding of public safety and security procedures

Written communication skills and report writing ability

High level of integrity and professionalism

Attention to detail and strong observational skills

Ability to work without direct supervision
