We are seeking a highly motivated and professional School Security Guard dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our students. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to connect with teenagers and maintain a calm demeanor, even in challenging situations. Your primary objective will be to create a safe environment where students can learn and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Safety*: Monitor and ensure the safety of all students on school premises.
• Conflict Resolution*: Handle challenging situations with composure, demonstrating patience and understanding towards students, especially when they may be difficult.
• Patrol Duties*: Conduct regular patrols of school grounds, including classrooms and restrooms, to ensure a secure environment.
• Emergency Response*: Be prepared to act quickly and effectively in emergency situations, following established protocols.
• Communication*: Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to communicate safety concerns and promote a secure learning environment.
• Reporting*: Document incidents and maintain accurate records of activities and observations throughout the day.
• Metal Detector Use*: Utilize the metal detector with students as they arrive for class to ensure they do not bring in any unauthorized items.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a security role, especially in an educational setting, is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with teenagers.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to enforce school policies while maintaining a positive relationship with students.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
