What You’ll Be Doing
- Security Monitoring – Patrol hotel grounds, monitor cameras and alarms, inspect entry points and restricted areas, and report suspicious activity.
- Incident Response – Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and guest concerns; provide assistance, first aid, and emergency support when needed.
- Policy Enforcement – Ensure hotel rules and safety protocols are followed, conduct briefings, and maintain knowledge of all security procedures.
- Documentation & Reporting – Record incidents, maintain logs, and submit detailed reports while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Guest Service & Support – Assist guests and team members with directions, amenities, or emergency needs while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Collaboration – Communicate openly with hotel departments, work with local law enforcement, and assist other teams during high-demand periods.
- Equipment & Facility Oversight – Monitor and maintain security equipment, ensure operational readiness, and keep work areas organized.
Who You Are
- Experienced & Knowledgeable – High school diploma or equivalent required; security or loss prevention experience preferred.
- Guest-Focused & Professional – Strong communication skills, courteous demeanor, and dedication to creating a safe, welcoming environment.
- Safety-Minded & Responsible – CPR/First Aid and TIPS certified (or willing to obtain), excellent driving record, and committed to following all safety protocols.
- Physically Capable – Comfortable standing, walking, lifting over 50 pounds, and navigating various environments safely.
- Alert & Adaptive – Able to adapt to changing workloads, schedules, and emergencies while maintaining composure under stress.
- Team-Oriented – Works collaboratively with all hotel departments to maintain a secure and positive environment.
