What You Get to Do
Service commercial alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
Troubleshoot issues onsite, complete repairs, or return with parts when needed.
Support installs for new or renovated branches.
Train on systems including DMP (alarms), Verint (video), Bosch, March, and others.
Grow into generalist work if interested (vaults, drive-up drawers, tube systems, locks).
What You’ve Already Done
Gained experience with commercial electronic security systems (banking or multi-site a plus).
Used a meter and tools to diagnose low-voltage issues.
Worked directly with clients and provided reliable, personable service.
Operated independently without heavy supervision.
Why You Would Do It
You want stability with a large company that runs its local branch like a smaller team.
You’ll have a manager who was a tech himself, respects your time, and gets you what you need.
You’ll have autonomy and support without micromanagement.
Pay range: $38–43/hr, with potential up to $47–48/hr for exceptional fit.
