POSITION: SECURITY SUPERVISOR DEPARTMENT: SECURITY REPORTS TO: SECURITY DIRECTOR & SECURITY MANAGER
Pay Rate 18.00 - 23.00 during probationary period.
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for Supervising Security Officers and overseeing sites.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Update briefing/post materials for officers in a timely manner Conduct informative shift briefings with incoming/outgoing Officers & Supervisors Ensure all posts are safe, in order & clean Have full knowledge of security, local laws, compliance, and Security Systems Conduct periodic post checks & correct performance issues Train staff in basic guest service & security skills, and be capable of performing duties at all posts Provide leadership & guidance to staff. Exhibit leadership qualities, motivate staff, and lead by example Conduct and investigate venue security requests Resolve escalated issues, provide appropriate warnings, and complete ejections if necessary Ensure staff enforcement & guest compliance of all job sites. Work closely withthe Security Director and Manager(s)
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION:
A minimum education level of High School Diploma or equivalency 2-4 years of Supervisory level experience (preferred) Ability to effectively perform in crises and work under pressure without loss of composure Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information Willingness to accept additional responsibility and assignments Ability to maintain good work relationships with all employees & management staff Ability to interact effectively & calmly with angry or emotional guests, etc.. during intensely aggravated situations Ability to represent the Security Dept. in an exemplary manner
LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: Must Have A Current California-issued Guard Card and California Driver's License.
