    Location: The Americano / Tell Your Friends Department: Front of House Reports To: General Manager / Floor Managers Compensation: Hourly (based on experience)

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a professional, guest-focused Security Team Member to support both The Americano and Tell Your Friends. This role goes beyond traditional security—it is a highly visible, interactive position that helps shape the guest experience from arrival to departure.

    Our Security team sets the tone at the door, maintains a safe and controlled environment, and ensures that every guest feels both welcomed and respected. The ideal candidate balances confidence and authority with approachability, hospitality, and strong situational awareness.

    Key Responsibilities

    Guest Experience & Door Presence

    Greet guests upon arrival with professionalism and confidence

    Manage entry flow, reservations, and guest expectations in coordination with Hosts

    Maintain a strong, composed presence that reflects the brand and atmosphere

    Provide clear, respectful communication when enforcing policies or managing wait times

    Safety & Environment Control

    Monitor guest behavior and maintain a safe, comfortable environment throughout the venue

    Proactively identify and de-escalate situations before they become disruptive

    Enforce house policies related to conduct, capacity, and safety standards

    Conduct ID checks and support age verification when required

    Team Collaboration

    Work closely with Hosts, Managers, and Bar teams to maintain flow and awareness

    Communicate clearly regarding guest concerns, VIP arrivals, or potential issues

    Support management in handling sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism

    Venue Awareness

    Maintain awareness of crowd levels, pacing, and overall energy of the room

    Assist with controlling entry during peak hours or high-volume nights

    Support opening and closing procedures as needed

    Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

    Preferred Experience

    Previous experience in security, hospitality, nightlife, or high-volume venues

    Experience with ID verification and guest interaction at the door

    Understanding of upscale or high-energy restaurant/bar environments
