We are seeking a part-time security officer for a construction site in downtown Tempe area.

This is for Part-time weekends- we have a part-time swing shift from 2pm to 10 on every Saturday and Sunday each week.

Must have an AZ current guard card. Must have min 2 years' experience working security at a construction site. Have a solid work history.

Some duties include, but not all-

Fire watch patrols conducted each hour.

Foot patrols of the areas, watching for theft, vandals, homeless and unauthorized people on site.

Being able to use silvertrac for report writing and incidents.

Call 911 or non-emergency as needed.

Be friendly but firm when dealing with people

Be able to de-escalate issues.

Be able to work with construction crews on site at times.

Be able to observe and report issues.

Some issues may include, leaks, pipe bursts, door check, fence lines, gates, fires or other emergencies.

There are six floors to patrol plus outside areas, must be able to walk, walk stairs on patrols. Must wear PPE at all times while on site. ( We supply all hard hats, gloves, safety vests and safety glasses)

Some shifts will be working with construction workers, must be able to work alone or with little supervision.
