    JOB SUMMARY

    The Vice President (VP), Life Sciences is a newly created, strategic growth focused role, that will lead the cross functional, multinational, life science business unit.  The VP will have P&L responsibility including the development and execution of growth initiatives.  Additionally, the VP will be responsible for various executive management, business development, and marketing functions. As a member of the executive leadership team, the VP will be entrusted to help develop, refine, and execute the life science business unit strategic objectives.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Division P&L
    • Cross-functional team management
    • Business development support
    • Participate in developing marketing initiatives in support of business growth initiatives
    • Staffing strategy, including hiring, retention, and professional development
    • Support development of client strategic insights
    • Leading client Scenario Planning / War Game workshops
    • Participate in client meetings (teleconference and onsite)
    • Thought Leadership; including the introduction / promotion of competitive strategy concepts, ideas, and tools, via social media, conference attendance, and company blog.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • Significant pharma experience and credibility with industry executives
    • Experience developing competitive strategies
    • Consulting experience (internal or vendor)
    • Flexibility, stamina, drive, strong work ethic, self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit and organized
    • An inquisitive nature and analytical thinking
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to quickly build rapport and establish relationships
    • Ability to multitask; managing simultaneous projects and other management responsibilities
    • Ability to lead, mentor and coach individuals with varying levels of experience and education.
