The Inside Counter Sales HVAC, Plumbing Parts position is a well-organized, customer-centric professional who thrives in a competitive environment. This role demands collaboration with both internal teams and contractor clients to drive business growth. Maintaining strong relationships with valued counter sales clients is pivotal, given expanding customer base in the region. Self-direction and independent work are essential qualities for success, as is an in-depth understanding of the local market.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive support to outside sales representatives and plumbing and heating contractors.
    • Efficiently process orders, track work orders, and fulfill customer requests.
    • Maintain organized visual store inventory and assist with freight handling.
    • Actively promote company's products and ongoing promotions.
    • Ensure timely fulfillment of parts requests through effective communication with manufacturers, account managers, and clients.
    • Efficiently address inquiries and requests from various sources, prioritizing responses to maximize sales department effectiveness.
    • Assist in planning and executing promotional activities to expand the parts department and support its growth as a revenue center in the organization.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of surpassing sales goals.
    • Enjoys the challenge of assisting clients in achieving their objectives.
    • Proficiency in the sales qualifying process.
    • Proficiency in conducting cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate potential return on investment.
    • Establishing and nurturing robust business relationships.
    • Skilled at overcoming objections and educating prospects/customers with innovative ideas.

    Education and Experience:

    • 1 to 3 years of specific industry work experience.
    • A strong grasp of the HVAC, plumbing, and hydronics supply business.
    • Previous Inside Sales or Counter Sales is highly preferred
