Job Description About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, multi-skilled Full Stack Engineering Lead for a hybrid management and technical role - to build our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) products such as Film Forward, as well as lead our small engineering team. Built around a library of exceptional short movies, Film Forward is a SaaS model product that helps organizations implement, execute and measure a sustainable practice to cultivate a workplace that works for everyone. Each month, participants watch an award-winning short film, engage in personal reflections and actions, expand individual knowledge through cultural literacy and then join a facilitated conversation.
Your role is to develop and build our DEI platform from current state to a scalable, repeatable architecture for these ground-breaking, mission-driven products. This role will report into our Head of Product, working closely together on our roadmap while serving as the lead engineering voice for our organization. You will mentor other engineers, manage resource assignments and oversee work. You will also work closely with the design lead and other team members in designing, building, launching and iterating.
About YOU
You love building new things and want to share your technical skills with a mission-driven company. With at least 5 years of experience under your belt, you are proficient in back-end and front-end development and support, and can design, build, deliver and support a web-based platform solution. You also have an interest in leading other engineers, enjoy supporting their skill development, and aim to grow your own management experience.
We are all working remotely for the foreseeable future, so it’s important that you are proactive in your internal and external communication. You’re a teamplayer, and we’re looking forward to building a team environment in which we care for each other’s psychological safety, have our voices heard and shift each others’ perspectives.
