    Essential Functions and Duties:

    • Tracks and reports on operational and service level metrics.
    • Works closely with staff by providing Tier 1 Service Desk support.
    • Identifies, recommends and implements improvement initiatives to streamline IT operations and workflow.
    • Provides Tier 1 support, including on-call and Service Desk duties and escalation to Tier 2 support as necessary.
    • Records incidents, problems and changes into the tracking system with clear and concise supporting documentation.
    • Provides timely, accurate and creative solutions to user problems of moderate to complex nature.
    • Performs basic system administration under the direction of department leadership.
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Ability to be a self-starter and learn quickly.
    • Problem-solving and investigative skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and follow through.
    • Analytical thinking and deductive reasoning.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Proficient experience using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint in a Windows operating system.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • 1-2 years of Service Desk experience
    • Experience in using Zendesk or other IT Ticket System
    • Office 365/Windows based experience

    Work Environments & Physical Demands:

    • Professional office environment
    • Mostly sedentary role
    • Must be able to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand.
    • Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
    • Mobile position: Must be able to walk, stand, carry and lift computer equipment up to 50% of the time.
    • Use of hands: Continuous use of computer, telephonic and other electronic equipment.
    • Required to lift PCs, monitors, printers and other personal computer hardware up to 100 pounds.
