    SUMMARY:   

    The Sales Engineer will act as the link between development, customers and sales for Seek Thermal products and providing technical support for Sales efforts.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·       Work collaboratively with sales team, engineers, and product managers for obtaining accurate information of application usage, system operations, and product management

    ·       Preparing technical elements of proposal, formulating the intricacies involved in defining the technical solution guidelines for sales team support

    ·       Troubleshooting system applications on customer's request, resolving other engineering issues regarding systems application, conducting regular follow up on customer's activities, and monitoring the same for obtaining new sales opportunities

    ·       Preparing relevant records, data, and documents for product presentations, conducting training sessions for demonstrating new products and services, and supporting the sales team in organizing the presentation and training of product demonstration

    ·       Coordinating with the sales and marketing team, systems application team, and other executive designers for designing proper application system, and formulating the product specification as per the customer's needs

    ·       Evaluating the customer's requirement regarding systems application and administering the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals accordingly as instructed

    ·       Will be responsible to conduct customer training on products

    ·       Participate in technical meetings, providing technical support and communicating customer requirements

    ·       Will be required to travel frequently, to customer sites on a regular basis, domestic and international

    ·       Ability to work from home and commute to HQ office from time to time

    ·       Longer hours supporting global sales efforts will be expected

    50% travel, both domestic and international 

    SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

    ·       Strong customer relations are required to ensure establishing and maintaining customer relations with new and existing customers.

    ·       Must have good interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and good organizational skills for effectively communicating the technical specifications to the customers and providing technical interface to Seek Thermal staff.

    ·       Technical expertise in thermal imaging highly desired but not required

    ·       Must have the ability to learn new technology and its application to our customer needs

    ·       Must be familiar with technical product specifications and be able to point out the specific technical merits of one product over another

    ·       Must have strong problem solving skills

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ·       Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required

    ·       Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Sales Engineer and/or customer facing role, preferable working within the sales organization
