Specific need: Meggett and Hollywood SC, Johns Island SC Weekend caregiver , 5-10 hour shifts

Job Summary:

The Caregiver provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.

Essential Functions: seeking an experienced caregiver

Personal Care

Provide assistance with basic activities of daily living, provide companionship, may include: bedbaths, changing briefs, hygiene care, etc

Transfers

Provide assistance transferring from bed to chair, using mechanical hoyer

Provide standby assistance

Provide transferring assistance

Companion/Sitter/Household Management

Provide companionship and respite services for family

Perform homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms

Medication Assistance Services (with RN supervision and delegation)

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.

12 months plus direct experience
