Nonprofit professional association seeking Director of Philanthropy to join its team.  The organization's current revenue is ~$5M and its primary revenue source is from program services.  The Director will be responsible for developing strategies for fundraising, including plan, organize, and direct campaigns, and has the opportunity to build and grow a team.  

The Director of Philanthropy will report to the Chief Development Officer and collaborate closely with Business Development, Membership, and Program leadership to build philanthropy throughout the organization. The ideal candidate has existing corporate relationships and has experience managing complex campaigns while building sustainable relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of philanthropic engagement experience in a substantive role in an organization’s fundraising initiatives
• Must have a repertoire of established corporate relationships/partnerships
• Enjoy the challenge of finding alignment between the organization’s mission and a potential funder or ally’s interests and priorities
• Demonstrate knowledge of and passions for the organization’s missions and values statements
• Skilled in using technology, including databases and reports, to track and build relationships with key allies, partners, and stakeholders
