    Seeley Consulting LLC is immediately seeking a Director/Principal of Government Contracting Audit Services to oversee audit operations and growth. The ideal candidate has substantial government contracting industry experience and demonstrates complete competence in auditing, reviews, and compilation services.  A strong C-level communicator who possesses a solid track record for managing and developing teams.  This is a key position with substantial growth opportunity.  Competitive compensation, flexible work arrangement (fully remote, in-office, or hybrid), family oriented team dynamic, and rewarding career opportunities.

    Primary responsibilities:

    • Manage full-life cycle of the audit process, anticipate problem areas and questions that arise during the course of a project
    • Source clients, client engagement, manage  the team, and execute engagements related to government contracting clients
    • Responsible for engagement economics including billing, collecting, and maintaining profitability of the team
    • Use professional network and existing relationships to actively develop new business for the audit services group, as well as extend opportunities to other lines of business within the firm
    • Develop and implement the service area’s strategic growth plan aligned with the firm’s plan
    • Identify cross-selling opportunities and follow through with those opportunities or refer them to other professionals as necessary

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s degree preferred
    • Ten (10) years of related experience with at least five (5) years in a public accounting firm
    • Active/valid certified public accountant’s license is required; must be a member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs and respective state societies
    • Complete and thorough understanding of accounting, auditing, and tax standards that impact government contractors
    • Demonstrate effective communication skills and a positive and professional attitude toward teamwork
    • Eligible to work for any employer in the United States
