Position Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Process vendor invoices; resolve invoice discrepancies; audit A/P operations and payments Experienced position that requires a Bachelors or Masters degree and 5-8 years of experience.
The role The AP Specialist manages the issues that are generated from the AP Service Desk. As well as, complex invoices that have exceptions that prevent payment processing. This role also assists in managing metrics, month end reporting and testing on process improvements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Training on the S4 Navigation • Training on the VIM Process • Training on processing complex Invoices • Liaison between Alpharetta team and Nogales Team on all communication • Training on applying credits • Answering inquiries from the AP Helpdesk • Invoice reversal for refunds or adjustments • Intercompany Invoice assistance • Missing PO Escalations • Missing Approvals Escalations • Research Exception issues on Fallout invoices • Communication to Line of Business on all exception Issues • SES Training • NON-PO Training • GRIR Reconciliation on North America GL Accounts • General Ledger Reconciliation – Blackline • Ad hoc reporting • Special Projects Required: • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Accounts Payable • Some college • Minimum 1 year SAP experience • 2 years’ experience of AP Invoice research • 3 years’ experience of vendor relations Preferred: Some ERP SAP experience Immediate Excel experience Ideal resource will have exp with running a help desk, can scrub data and can run reports.
