 JOB TITLE: SOFTWARE DEVELOPER III (.NET TECHNOLOGIES)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

·        Length of Assignment: 30-60 days Opening for a software developer with experience in .NET technologies.

·        You will be working with staff in order to design, develop, test and release functionality upgrades to established Web Applications.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

·        ASP.Net MVC C#, Javascript/jQuery, Visual Studio

·        Knowledge/Experience with using SMTP to send mail from an application as well as scheduling automatic events within the application.

·        Utilize domain knowledge and hands-on experience to develop and implement software programs.

·        Create, maintain, and improve the performance of existing software code.

·        Write and update software code and databases. • Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.

·        Write test scripts to use in test-driven development and agile software development environment.

·        Build automated procedures, in addition to functional code, to ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery of software.

·        Solve software development and engineering problems and recommend improvements to existing software programs.

·        Work effectively with peers and customer software coding teams.

SKILLS PREFERRED:

·        SQL Server Relational Databases, HTML/CSS

·        Knowledge of and experience with agile and lean philosophies.

·        Experience customizing code, scripts, modules, macro procedures, or libraries to implement specialized spatial analysis functions using, JavaScript/jQuery, C# or similar.

·        Experience working independently with clients or stakeholders to develop user-stories in support of full-service consumer and business applications.

·        Experience with using the ASP.net for bulk/mass mailing & invoicing.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·        Experience with sending SMTP email communication from an web application to a group of email addresses; experience configuring email notifications

·        Knowledge/Experience with using SMTP to send mail from an application as well as scheduling automatic events within the application.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.

·        BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree.

·        Demonstrated experience in C# and JavaScript enterprise application development; web services architecture, design, and development; relational database design; spatial database design; SQL database design; micro-service architecture, design, and development.

·        Experience in full-stack development to include ASP.net MVC, Web services, Database, and micro-service development.

·        Experience working with relational databases.

·        Ability to work well with minimal to little guidance and team interaction.

·        Clear written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

·        BS or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree.
