    This role will develop, maintain, and execute a wide range of quality tests and analyses to ensure software solutions meet or exceed technical specifications, compliance standards, and end-user functional requirements. This role will create test plan requirements and develop/review test scripts. This role will communicate with business line stakeholders to assist and validate solution functionality prior to production implementation. This role will develop, maintain, and manage processes specific to the quality analyst function.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Create test scripts designed to validate both the primary and edge path workflow of end users in software solutions
    • Gather and coordinate test data and execute test scripts, documenting and analyzing all discovered issues
    • Retest and validate software fixes
    • Participate in risk analysis as knowledge of software solutions grows
    • Meet with business stakeholders, systems owners, and end users to verify test issues and resolutions
    • Develop, maintain, and manage quality analyst-specific processes and documentation and they relate to the overall software development lifecycle
    • Work with business systems analyst and development resources to document, test, and resolve issues
    • Prepare and deliver status reports to management detailing QA progress on existing projects
    • Communicate effectively and efficiently with business and technical stakeholders
    • Lead by example and demonstrate high performance in the areas of customer service, collaboration, team work, reliability, productivity, and execution

    KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

    • Software quality analysis
    • Test plan and script documentation
    • Agile/SCRUM
    • QA environment progression and related tasks (QA, Test, UAT, Production)
    • Primary and edge path testing methodologies

    TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience
    • At least one year of experience in software testing on web-based software solutions
    • Fluent with Microsoft Office and Google Apps
    • Experience with various SDLC methodologies, agile and SCRUM preferred
    • Strong initiative, innovative thinking skills, and the ability to analyze details and adopt a strategic view
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to explain complex technical information to technical and non-technical contacts
    • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively build relationships, promote a collaborative team environment, and influence others
