The Commissions Analyst is part of a top-tier finance, accounting and analytics team. This individual should have with a strong attention to detail, integrity, intellectual curiosity, results focused, and a passion for excellence. The Commissions Analyst will have significant financial and accounting responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the commission reconciliation duties for the division at a policy level
- Research and resolve commission issues in relation to the carriers
- Become intimately familiar with the commission structure for the firm
- Assist in data management and integrity of the division
- Generate monthly cash reconciliation reports for the corporate office
- Resolve all policy level commission issues where data does not match that of the carriers
- Maintain carrier specific trial balances
- Report directly to the Commissions Supervisor
- Support finance team's analysis for strategic initiatives
- Prepare and maintain appropriate schedules and reports as requested
- Support the development and optimization of the firms proprietary revenue tracking system
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research accounts payable and accounts receivable issues as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by superiors

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
