    Join an employee-owned general contractor recognized for delivering high-quality commercial construction projects across the Pacific Northwest. This firm specializes in self-perform work within sectors like biotech, healthcare, education, tech, and data centers. They are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support their self-perform operations, working closely with both internal teams and general contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

    This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong coordination skills and at least three years of experience in the construction industry. You’ll play a critical role in facilitating communication between field and office teams and managing the technical and administrative aspects of self-perform work.

    Self-Perform Senior Project Engineer Responsibilities:

    • Support multiple job sites throughout all phases of construction.
    • Act as the main liaison between field teams and office staff to ensure project continuity.
    • Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement logs, and project documentation.
    • Assist with change orders, cost tracking, invoicing, and timecard entry.
    • Provide technical support to ensure code and spec compliance.
    • Coordinate production tracking and help resolve field issues.
    • Participate in project meetings with GC teams.
    • Contribute to budgeting, billing, and estimating using tools like OST and Excel.
    • Promote safety, quality, and team collaboration on every site.

    Self-Perform Senior Project Engineer Qualifications:

    • At least 3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across various projects.
    • Team-oriented with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.

    Compensation: $85K - $125K (DOE) salary
