Sellar Hazard Lucia, founded nearly 60 years ago, is an expanding California law firm in search of bright and confident attorneys for our Walnut Creek and San Jose offices. We represent and advise the largest construction companies in California.

This is an excellent opportunity for newer attorneys to learn the fast paced and exciting world of construction defect litigation. While prior experience with construction defect litigation is a plus, experience in this field is not required. Candidates must be detail orientated, reliable, and able to work efficiently without constant oversight.

This position provides excellent advancement potential for motivated individuals. Candidates will receive substantial litigation experience, including attending trials with some of the most knowledgeable trial attorneys in California. QUALIFICATIONS:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Strong academic background
• Admitted to practice in the State of California within the last 5 years
• Admitted to practice in other states is a plus
• Strong research, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in handling motions, discovery, and trial preparation
• Client communications
• Case status reporting
• Work closely with experts
