SUMMARY

SellersFunding (the “Company”) is hiring an ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE in Weston, Florida on a fulltime basis, reporting to the Director of Finance.  The primary responsibilities are based on diverse accounting and financial management duties, such as preparing budgets and financial reports, managing accounting records, handling payments, monitoring budget variances, writing reports, providing data analysis and entry, and maintaining good relationships with Company's clients, investors and vendors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
• Update and maintain the general ledger
• Reconciliation of entries into accounting system
• Maintain month-end schedules and reconciliations
• Recording of debits and credits
• Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
• Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• Ability to manage changing priorities
• Interact with various departments to gather information during the accounting cycle
• Assist in producing monthly financial statements
• Monitor any variances from the projected budget

SKILLS

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Understanding accounting best practices
• Knowledge of IFRS, U.S GAAP or another accounting framework
• Data entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Produce work with a high level of accuracy
• Knowledge of XERO, Quickbooks, or other applications
• Full responsibility of the general ledger month-end close
• Prepare and record journal entries
• Month-end close procedures
• Manage the full accounts payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payment, including coding invoices, obtaining approval, and entering the invoices into the accounting system.
• Prepare miscellaneous accounts receivable invoices and post payments received
• Prepare credit card upload for processing and review coding
• Code and upload monthly payroll billings
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Evaluate and implement internal controls so that processes are operating effectively
• Participate in project implementation for systems and/or processes related to the corporate department initiated by other departments and/or by the department to ensure that requirements are met and/or work efficiently enhanced
• Other job-related duties as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent
• Three to five years of recent general ledger accounting experience
• Intermediate level knowledge of all accounting functions and related internal controls, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and lending.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• 3 years accounting/audit experience
• General ledger: 3 years (Required)
• Experience preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and willingness to research and resolve accounting application
