  • Responsibilities

    The Administrative Assistant works under the supervision of the Commercial Lines Manager and provides support to the Semaphore Insurance Team. The right candidate must be highly organized and be able to utilize Microsoft’s suite of products and be proficient with CRM software.

    DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Handle administrative requests and queries.

    • Answer and direct phone calls.

    • Conduct client calls as directed by the Commercial Lines Manager.

    • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.

    • Complete Client Onboarding forms.

    • Enter data into Semaphore’s CRM system.

    • Maintains CRM records.

    • Facilitates client requests to the appropriate team member.

    • Conduct effective follow up with clients, respond to client inquires within 12 hours of the initial request as instructed by the Commercial Lines Manager.

    • Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain highest level of professionalism.

    • Ad hoc duties as assigned.

    SKILLS:

    • Excellent computer skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office software.

    • Accuracy and attention to detail.

    • Demonstrated ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills.

    • Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Bachelor's degree- Required.

    · 3-5 years of office administrative experience – Required.

    · 1-2 years of CRM management.

    · Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    · 1-2 years’ experience in the Insurance or Financial industries.

    Compensation: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
