    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

    • Advise on best practice, safety, OSHA and other regulatory requirements
    • Schedule and run monthly safety meetings
    • Review and update safety material and best practices
    • Inspect Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to Fall Protection Harnesses, Safety glasses/goggles, gloves, etc.
    • Liaise with the HR department and other Workers Comp point of contacts as needed
    • Provide and develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management as requested
    • Stay current and up to date with OSHA and other regulatory safety guidelines and requirements
    • Travel to various branches ensuring safety regulations and guidelines are met

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations and guidelines
    • Minimum of 2 years of safety experience in construction with an emphasis on roofing and electrical
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Solar, roofing, and or HVAC industries a must
    • Previous working experience as a construction laborer or Solar laborer a plus
    • NFPA70-E for electrical, OSHA 10, OSHA 30 minimum, and OSHA 500 preferred
    • CHST – Construction health and safety technician as entry-level, ASP/CSP (Associate safety professional and certified safety professional) preferred
    • Associate’s or bachelor’s in environmental health and safety, occupational safety and health, engineering.
    • Must possess a valid California driver license and a minimum of 2 years driving for a company
    • Practical and conceptual thinking as related to project descriptions and needs
    • Ability to foster teamwork and be a great member of the team
    • Creates and welcomes open and honest communication
    • High computer literacy-experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365 and Salesforce
    • Exhibits unquestionable integrity and work ethic
