SEMPER SOLARIS - SALESFORCE DEVELOPER

Semper Solaris has continued to grow even in these uncertain times. With five new offices opened in the last six months, we are proving ourselves to be #SEMPERSTRONG!  We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to be a part of our growth!

We are looking for someone to lead the testing and implementation of software development efforts, including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation and debugging, as well as managing timelines and producing technical documentation of Salesforce applications.  Your primary focus will be custom Salesforce Development and integration with a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficiency in Salesforce, with clear understanding of lead, contact, opportunity, account, and campaign objects and how changes to one affect multiple objects and departments
• Translate functional requirements into technical requirements
• Design and build high-performance, reusable and reliable Apex code
• Ensure the best possible quality of the application
• Take ownership of the project work and be able to communicate complex information effectively to people who do not have computer knowledge as well as answer questions as they arise, giving clear instruction
• Identify bugs and align with requirements during debugging
• Ability to smoothly deploy changes into production environment with minimal business interruption
• Estimate time frames, quality, and quantity of resources required to successfully implement technical projects for self and 3rd party developing partners
• Knowledge and experience using APIs, web hooks, and general data transfer approaches required

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in designing custom objects, customer fields, picklists, page layouts, workflows, approval process, validation rules, custom tabs, Visualforce pages, dashboards, and email generation
• Development experience with Apex Visualforce as well as Salesforce Lightning and Lightning apps
• Development of various Salesforce products such as FSL (Field Service Lightning) Pardot and other various integrations with 3rd party apps
• Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g. managing users, security controls, and data as well as created rolls, profiles and reports
• Ability to communicate and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions
• Work to business timelines and schedules, often working on multiple projects while ensuring the work produced meets best practices
• The minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar discipline
• Developer Sandbox and Full Sandbox construction
• Salesforce certification, such as the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II accreditation is a plus
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development is a plus
