Job Description

SUMMARY:

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who can help us design, define, execute, monitor and manage our investments in the Microsoft Azure cloud.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, monitor, and maintain automated deployment to production, ensuring a stable process.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure targeting all environments
• Build Azure DevOps Dashboards and understanding of essential DevOps KPIs
• Ensure systems reliability by verifying deployments through monitoring and automated testing
• Knowledge of terraform and ARM Template
• Ability to successfully troubleshoot production issues and provide a resolution within a timely manner
• This job requires availability 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, to align with the Software Development teams. After hours and weekend work might be occasionally needed.
• Strong communication skills
• Strong collaboration skill

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

• Bachelor’s in computer science or engineering preferred, relevant experience will be considered
• 3+ years of experience working with PaaS providers such as Azure or similar platforms
• Proficient in at least one shell scripting language such as PowerShell
• Experience with Azure alerting & monitoring.
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.

NICE TO HAVE

• Microsoft Azure DevOps certification
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with Octopus deploy
• Experience managing containerized deployments with Kubernetes and related tooling
• Familiar with .NET Core and SQL Server
• Knowledge of Docker
• Understands Microservices architecture on Azure Service Fabric
