SUMMARY:

If so, we are looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Engineer to help drive our automation initiative to improve testing and monitoring of our high-traffic SaaS solutions. You will have an enormous opportunity to make an impact on the design, architecture, and implementation of cutting-edge products designed for millions of users. You will be expected to identify, plan, design, develop, and maintain projects and corresponding automation architecture that can extend the reach of automation with the goal of reducing/redirecting manual testing costs across SeneGence while increasing quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate the decomposition of business requirements into Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria
• Proven mastery of software testing including test strategies, test plans, and test execution
• Excellent background in foundational concepts of SDLC, and testing best practices throughout SDLC
• Experience and strong understanding of automation tools such as Selenium, JMeter, SoapUI, Postman, etc.
• Experience building and developing test automation for APIs, and Web Services
• Lead automation project plan, scope, schedule and implementation of test and project level architecture within the automation framework
• Lead the development, execution, analysis, and presentation of performance/benchmark, load, and scalability testing based on product requirements
• Ability to perform testing on high to very high complexity projects and provide guidance, training, and mentoring
• Track and analyze test results, report automation summaries, and update statuses
• Participate in post deployment testing exercises as necessary
• Possesses effective influencing and negotiating skills

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of professional work experience in a software test automation or other software development role
• Experience with Agile Scrum framework
• Experienced in building Automation Framework with Selenium and Protractor, etc.
• Experienced in Page Object Model with Keyword and Data Driven Concepts
• Expertise in Git hub code repositories
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C#, or Python
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
• Aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts
• Work effectively in a team setting
• Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage multiple parallel deadlines
• Experienced in integrating automation framework with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline is a plus
• Experience in testing Mobile Apps for IOS and Android is a plus
• Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.
