    Location: Uptown Dallas, TX
    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
    Compensation: $80-90K, DOE

    Overview

    A highly respected professional services firm is seeking a Senior Audio/Visual Support Specialist to support and oversee A/V systems at its Dallas headquarters. This role is fully onsite and responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of video conferencing systems, meeting room technology, and A/V hardware.

    This position plays a critical client-facing role in delivering seamless, professional meeting experiences across departments and may occasionally require travel to regional office locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate and maintain A/V software and hardware to ensure reliability and performance across conference rooms and shared meeting spaces

    • Launch, test, and monitor video conferencing sessions using platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex

    • Coordinate and initiate video meetings across multiple office locations, including internal and external participants

    • Set up and support conference room tech (e.g., projectors, microphones, flat panel displays, control panels)

    • Provide onsite support during live video events and meetings, including technical troubleshooting

    • Perform preventive maintenance checks, system testing, and functionality reviews

    • Record and upload internal training sessions to intranet systems or digital libraries

    • Support in-office events requiring A/V setup (training sessions, town halls, receptions)

    • Maintain an organized inventory of A/V gear, including upgrades and replacement cycles

    • Create and update quick reference guides for end-user self-service and basic troubleshooting

    • Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure seamless network integration and issue resolution

    • Liaise with third-party vendors for A/V repairs or event support when required

    • Contribute to general IT support functions as needed (tier 1/tier 2)

    Required Qualifications

    • 2–4 years of experience in corporate, legal, or professional services environments supporting A/V systems

    • Advanced knowledge of video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex)

    • Hands-on experience with A/V control systems, projectors, microphones, and flat panel displays

    • Working understanding of basic networking concepts related to A/V (IP, bandwidth, firewalls)

    • Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and support high-visibility meetings with professionalism

    • Strong customer service orientation, with clear communication and problem-solving skills

    • Willingness to work occasional overtime or flexible hours to support events or critical meetings

    Bonus Skills

    • Familiarity with digital signage systems, event lighting, or room automation tools

    • Previous experience recording and managing internal training content

    • Exposure to IT service desks, asset management systems, or ticketing platforms

    Location & Travel

    • Role is 100% onsite in Uptown Dallas

    • Occasional travel to satellite offices (within Texas and other U.S. cities) may be required
