Responsibilities: • Convert warm broker referrals into client partnerships by managing priority opportunities from our strategic partnerships and professional network, where initial credibility has been established • Develop new business relationships with companies (30+ employees) through proactive outreach, professional networking, and strategic business development initiatives • Lead comprehensive discovery conversations with C-suite executives, HR directors, and benefits decision-makers to assess current programs and uncover opportunities to strengthen employee financial protection • Design and present customized solutions that address identified protection gaps, navigating complex approval processes involving finance teams, HR leadership, and executive stakeholders • Maintain professional representation of Coleman Agency with broker partners, referral sources, and strategic alliances that generate ongoing opportunity flow • Manage your book of business strategically, focusing on client retention, account expansion, and revenue growth, while our enrollment specialists handle all implementation logistics • Drive premium volume and persistency metrics while enrollment and administrative teams manage the operational details of group installations and ongoing service Qualifications: • Demonstrated success in insurance sales with 3-5+ years in employee benefits, worksite benefits, or insurance production with a verifiable track record of consistent results • Current Texas Life & Health Insurance License in good standing—active licensure is required, not optional • Experience with larger accounts with proven ability to sell to organizations with 30+ employees, where decisions require consensus among multiple stakeholders and formal evaluation cycles • Strong closing skills demonstrated through a consultative sales approach and documented success in converting qualified opportunities into signed business • Results-driven professional comfortable with performance-based compensation structures and personal accountability for production outcomes • Professional mobility with a reliable vehicle for client meetings, broker visits, and business development throughout the Northwest Houston market Preferred: Employee benefits specialization, established professional network in Northwest Houston/Cypress area (leveraging existing business relationships and connections significantly accelerates your momentum and early success) Bonus: Bachelor's degree in business-related field, active involvement in local business or professional associations, or bilingual capabilities (Spanish/English) Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 yearly
