Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager — Maitland, FL (On-site, 5 days/week) $90,000–$100,000 DOE Read this part first: this role is in-person at our Maitland, FL headquarters, five days a week. Not remote. Not hybrid. You should be within about a 50-minute drive of Maitland or willing to relocate before your start date. If that doesn’t work for you, this isn’t the role — no hard feelings. This is a judgment job, not a report-running job. We have four entities in QuickBooks Online — two corporate spas, a franchise company, and a marketing company — kept cleanly separate, all feeding an outside CPA. We need someone who knows whether the P&L and balance sheet are actually right: capitalize vs. expense, accruals, prepaids, intercompany. Not someone who runs the same report every month and hopes. The heaviest part of the job is AP across all four entities. After that, payroll recording and reconciliation through ADP. Then journal entries, monthly close, financial statements, bank and credit card recs, and an internal-controls process verifying third-party patient financing deposits against source documents. You’ll report to the President and CFO and coordinate with our fractional CPA. You own your work end to end — no one checks behind you. We also want someone tech-forward: automate the manual work (we use tools like Ramp and ADP), don’t grind through it by hand. Accounting correctness comes first, always.
