Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller 

Chantilly, VA | On-Site 

Referral Staffing is partnered with a well-established nonprofit organization that also operates a successful real-estate property management arm in Northern Virginia. Their CFO is seeking a reliable, positive senior accountant/assistant controller who enjoys working in a small, collaborative setting while owning broad accounting responsibilities.

You’ll support full-cycle accounting and financial reporting activities, assist with budgets, month-end close, CAM reconciliation, and multi-entity work. Ideal candidates bring property management accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and hands-on proficiency with accounting systems — Yardi experience. 

Background Snapshot
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within property management
• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting preferred; CPA not required)
• Experience with property/lease accounting, reconciliations, monthly reporting, and audit/tax support
• Familiarity with Yardi (Voyager 7 or 8)
