Position Summary The Senior Accountant will assist the Controller by ensuring the accuracy of financial records, leading month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring GAAP compliance. They will also analyze financial data, manage account reconciliations, assist with audits, and often supervise junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial statements
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Analyze budget-to-actual variances and financial trends
Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX and internal controls
Support audits and regulatory filings
Mentor junior accountants and assist with training
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and reporting. .
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting
At least two (2) years of experience as an Accountant
Possessing advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
