We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Accountant for an organization located in the Sacramento area! Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Perform general ledger account reconciliation to maintain financial integrity.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll processing to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Prepare and deliver ad hoc financial reports and analysis to support decision-making at all levels of business.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial processes, procedures, and best practices to drive operational excellence.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience with a strong foundation in accounting principles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and core accounting practices.
• Hands-on experience in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage, multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a growth-oriented or fast-paced environment is a plus.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is from $80K to $100K, depending on experience.
