Monthly/quarterly/annual small business services including:
Transaction data into accounting software
General ledger account analysis
Recording of closing entries
Corresponding and cultivating relationships with clients throughout the year to provide guidance in compliance with GAAP and functionality of accounting software
Preparation of periodic financial reports and ad hoc reports as requested
Reviewing periodic company performance with owners/management and providing recommendations for operating efficiencies and profitability optimization
Preparation of required tax filings including:
Quarterly/annual payroll returns
Monthly/quarterly/annual sales tax returns
Annual W2 and 1099 filings
Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bachelors Degree and/or Masters Degree in Accounting
CPA license or active CPA candidate preferred
4-7 years of public accounting experience
Software Knowledge – Preferred but not mandatory:
Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Checkpoint Tools for PPC
QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online
Lacerte Tax Software
Remote access technology
