  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Dallas, Texas. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and maintaining compliance with GAAP and company policies.

    This role requires strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities

    • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements

    • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data

    • Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations to management

    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

    • Support external audits and coordinate with auditors

    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies

    • Manage fixed assets, accruals, prepaid expenses, and intercompany transactions

    • Improve accounting processes and internal controls

    • Assist with system implementations or upgrades as needed

    • Mentor and support junior accounting staff

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    • 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience

    • Public accounting experience preferred

    • CPA certification (or actively pursuing) strongly preferred

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

    • High attention to detail and accuracy

    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
