Senior Accountant – Private Equity
Location: Dallas, TX
A growing private investment firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Dallas-based team. This role reports to the Controller and offers strong exposure to leadership, financial reporting, and strategic analysis across a diverse investment portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (US GAAP)
Analyze financial and operating data to support business decisions
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
Support the annual audit process, including preparation of schedules and audit requests
Assist leadership with financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
2–4 years of experience in public accounting, audit, or similar accounting role
Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, data analysis)
Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
