    Senior Accountant – Corporate Accounting & Family Office
    Location: Irvine, CA | Onsite

    Professional Search Group has partnered with a dynamic and well-established investment firm in Orange County to identify a talented Senior Accountant to support both corporate accounting and a high-net-worth family office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.

    Position Overview

    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting functions across multiple entities, including corporate entities, trusts, personal accounts, and property-related accounts. This individual must demonstrate a high level of integrity, organizational skill, and sound judgment while working in a close-knit, collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare journal entries and perform account analysis and reconciliations
    • Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for corporate, property, and personal accounts
    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for private companies, trusts, individuals, and credit funds
    • Assist in the development and documentation of accounting policies and internal controls
    • Support cash management, including cash forecasting, bill payment, wire transfers, and credit card reconciliation
    • Coordinate with external auditors and assist with year-end audit preparation
    • Support budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with the finance team
    • Track tax-related documents and assist in the preparation and coordination of tax filings
    • Maintain accurate records of notes, lines of credit, insurance policies, and authorizations
    • Ensure timely resolution of accounting inquiries and maintain organized digital records
    • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience
    • Prior experience in real estate or family office accounting is a plus
    • Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
    • Experience with Yardi or similar accounting platforms is preferred

    • Deep understanding of GAAP and sound financial reporting practices
    • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Self-starter who exercises sound judgment and maintains confidentiality
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
