One of the largest real estate companies in North America is looking to hire a Senior Accountant. This position has the flexibility to work from home as well as in the company’s Pompano Beach office.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations for various properties
• Collaborate with other departments within the large organization
• Work with external auditors in the completion of the financial audits
• Mentor and train Staff Accountants
• Respond to inquiries from the Accounting Supervisors and Managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests

Requirements:

• Real estate development or property management experience
• 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience dealing with balance sheets, heavy accruals, and GL analysis
• Supervisory experience
• Yardi or other real estate ERP software experience
