  • Responsibilities

    A wealth management firm based in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Senior Accountant. This individual will assist the Controller with accurate and timely accounting functions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the preparation of financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows and related footnotes
    • Participate in the month, quarter and year-end close activities including general ledger analysis and reconciliations
    • Prepare and maintain journal entries
    • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
    • Respond to inquiries from upper management regarding financial results and special reporting requests

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus
    • 4+ years of accounting experience
    • Advanced MS Excel experience
    • Large ERP systems experience
