Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Melbourne, FL (100% onsite)

Position Summary:

The Senior Accountant will be a highly hands-on accounting professional responsible for full-cycle accounting activities. This role will work closely with the VP of Finance and the CFO. The ideal candidate is meticulous, technically strong, and motivated to grow into a leadership role within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Manage inventory, fixed assets, accruals, prepaid expenses, and intercompany transactions
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring, banking activity, and liquidity planning.
• Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff as the role evolves

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
• Experience in an international or multi-entity environment preferred
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience required
